Covering art created from 1970 to the art made by the artists of today working “up to the minute,” Contemporary art is ever changing as time progresses. The terms “Modern and Contemporary Art are often grouped together, thought, modernism has become associated with a historical art movement, or more specifically, a group of movements taking place within a generally defined period of time (from 1860/70-1970).
