Wonderful little stylized figure in terracotta of a kneeling girl - by William Zorach.

 

Zorach was at the "forefront" of the early modernist movement in America - embracing such modern art diciplins as Fauvism, Cubism, abstraction and others. He is known for his "stylized" figures - as displayed in the present work.
