Nice pair (framed separately) of c. late 1940's non-Objective Geometric Abstractions by the Guggenheim artist - Rolph Scarlett.

 

These Non-Objective Geometric abstractions by Rolph Scarlett were acquired directly from the estate representative, Harriet Tannin, Woodstock, NY. 

 

Rolph Scarlett was amongst the third largest holdings of the Guggenheim Museum (behind Bauer & Kandinsky). Solomon Guggenheim, at the behest of Hilla Rebay - Guggenheim's art advisor - gave Scarlett the longest Guggenheim fellowship of any artist, 11 years. Guggenheim acquired over 60 works by Scarlett for the museum.
